Ok, so the First Age began when i started drawing stuff when I was, like, 10 or 11 and used mainly pencil. It ended when, in my sophomore year in high school, I discovered anime and manga and I began to focus on that and started trying my hand at colored pencils and markers. Hehe, so THAT age lasted an eternity (and by eternity I mean the rest of high school lolz). I now declare the coming of the Third Age: The Digital Era.

I got a tablet for Christmas and it's pretty much the bomb. I even have a few scraps and deviations up, aren't you proud of me?

Oh gees, don't kill me, those of you who hate geekiness, but here goes.

As all serious Lord of the Rings fans know, the Third Age of Middle Earth (or at least the ending of it) was, to say the least, intense, revolutionary, and tumultuous. Lots of big battles against badass Dark Lords and the ultimate ridding of evil from Middle Earth forever. My Third Age will not be nearly as cool, mostly due to the notable lack of hobbits, ents, rangers, rings of power, and Gandalf (who, btw, is the ultimate pwnr of noobs on the face of the planet, go him). But I really really really really want to draw some real stuff now. Cuuuz I'm kinda past the 'I'm a sucky noob' phase and have moved on to the 'I'm a sucky artist' phase and would LOVE to get rid of the 'suck' factor. Lolz. Not that everything I do is bad, its just not as good as I think i can do. So I need to hurry up and be better ^_^.

Well, Just thought that I'd throw that out there, seeing as how its the New Year and people are making resolutions and reevaluating stuff all over the place. It just reminded me to try to be better. ^_^
